Narrative writing

Saturday 21st may 2023. The boys and I were playing basketball at the court next to the beach. It was a hot sunny day. We had been there for a couple of hours and the heat was annoying and we didn't have any water.

Ace had a sore ankle but i guess if he had a sore ankle along with no water, it wouldn't help. Colin and I said to Ace “Do you want to go home or go for a swim?” Ace said "we can go for a swim but before we go can we go to the shop for some water?” “Ok lets go” said Colin.

We walked down the road to the shop. We asked the shopkeeper if there was and water but he said “no we ran out yesterday.” “Okay,” I said. We walked out but Ace stopped and picked up a rock and kept walking, holding it all the way to the beach.

We got to the beach and he threw it into the water and Ace said “Let's jump in “ we all ran in and got hit by a wave and Ace said “Look at that hill its so high” and I said “Look at the clouds” “Yeah” said Colin but Ace said “We better go it's getting dark” “Ok” said Colin we got out and walked home all wet.

 On Wednesday the 30th of June it was the school production and it was called Tiddler and our class part was about plastic in the ocean. I felt bored because we weren't allowed to play basketball after school and we got kept inside the class because they didn't want us all over the place after school. I thought the costumes were annoying because they were itchy,soar and the face paint was hard to get off and it hurt. The performance was after all good I reckon we did great and it was fun I would give it a 9 and a half.

how to write a good blog

 I think a good blog should have all of these in it.

1. A title, you are supposed to write a title because that tells the reader  what you are writing about. 

2. Paragraphs you have Paragraphs to space out your writing. 

3. Your writing should be punctuated so your reader can make sense of it.  

4. Your writing should be friendly and informal because it is available to everyone. 

5. The blog should be written in first person like using I or me.  This is so we can connect with the reader.
